A one hour virtual HBCU/Divine 9 homecoming-themed voter education/voter registration event that will stream September 26, 2020 at 8:00pm ET.
Homecoming theme: #SQUADUPHOMECOMING
This non-partisan event will feature athletes, celebrities, musical talent and organizations that include @billysorrells, @ritabrentcomedy, @stepafrika and more.
#SquadUpHomecoming will also highlight Black-owned restaurants featured on the app for DoorDash Delivery Service, which will offer $0 delivery fees for their merchant partners through the end of 2020.
The purpose of this event is to excite potential voters ages 18-25 and to get them to register to vote and motivated to participate in the upcoming election.
