Niyah from Youtube Channel Niy's World, shows us all of her college dorm room necessities as she prepares for her freshman year of college at Morgan State University. In this video, Niyah discusses all of her recent purchases including wall decor, hygiene products, kitchen appliances, bedding, and a few miscellaneous must-haves from Target and Amazon. However, Niya makes it clear this is not the end of her dorm shopping journey and will update her viewers on the new purchases in her upcoming dorm tour video early this fall.

Additionally, Niya gives a personal and in-depth look into her items and why they are specifically important to her as she makes her transition to Morgan State. Morgan State University is a public research HBCU based in Baltimore, Maryland and is currently the largest HBCU in Maryland. Former known as Morgan State College, the institution was officially established as Morgan State University in 1975. The university's mascot is the Bear and their colors are blue and orange.

The Morgan State Bears are apart of the NCAA Division I FCS and are athletic members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic conference (MEAC). The intercollegiate athletics consist of twelve sports such as men and women's basketball, track and field, and men's only football. The 152-acre campus offers more than 125 degrees and twelve colleges to their multinational student body.

Though the campus is known for being an inviting and safe location, students also enjoy off campus culture such as shopping, sightseeing along with community engagement. Being known for their urban orientation, MSU strives to continue renovating and expanding the campus amenities to promote a new and welcoming atmosphere for its students.
